Odd Radio Circles - what are they?

I'll talk about the discovery of odd radio circles (ORCs) with ASKAP and present what we know about their properties and possible formation mechanisms. Since our understanding of ORCs is still evolving, questions and ideas are welcome. 

I will take this opportunity to also present other science highlights from my recent work, including the Corkscrew Galaxy and a huge hour-glass outflow from a nearby galaxy.
