Description

February 11 is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. To celebrate this day, and the start of O-Week, come and meet some of our amazing women scientists, as well as staff from the College of Science and Medicine and the College of Engineering, Computing & Cybernetics working on Gender Equity, plus representatives of staff and student groups with a gender equality focus (including Fifty50, Women* in Physics, Astro and Engineering, Rladies, and the Gender Institute).
There will be no PowerPoint and no speeches, just mingling and chatting with people who fundamentally think that the world will be much better once Science achieves gender equality.
Come to campus, and meet some of our amazing women scientists! Please see here for more info on the event.
Location
