Description

Mount Stromlo Observatory in conjunction with the Canberra Astronomical Society invites the Canberra community to Enlighten Beyond at Mount Stromlo.

On this special evening, we will light up the domes as well as enjoy views of the nighttime sky.

This event is made possible by the generosity of Epson and support from the ACT Government.

There will be four locations with projections and work - Yale-Columbia Dome, 74" telescope (both sides), and Director's Residence Garage.

Stargazing will also occur (weather permitted).  You can book a general admission ticket to look through telescopes outside, or book a session time to go into one of the domes and look through it in small groups (as well as use telescopes outside).
