The spIRIT Satellite arrives at Mt Stromlo National Space Testing Facility

SpIRIT, the first satellite funded by the Australian Space Agency and developed in collaboration with the Italian Space Agency, arrived at the National Space Test Facility at Mt Stromlo ANU campus this morning for the final environmental testing prior to its upcoming launch in space. The Head of the Australian Space Agency, Mr Enrico Palermo, and the Ambassador of Italy Dr. Paolo Crudele, congratulated the team led by Prof. Michele Trenti, Director of the Melbourne Space Laboratory at the University of Melbourne, for this important milestone.
