2026 Mount Stromlo open day!!
~FREE~ for all ANU students. Includes a bus to and from the main campus, a FREE barbecue (sausage sizzle and vego options available), and talks and networking events with some of the leading astrophysicists in the world.
Talks include Nobel Prize winner Brian Schmidt, and chief scientist of the Square Kilometre Array Observatory, Naomi McClure-Griffiths.
From student talks, networking events and tours of the Advanced Instrumentation and Technology Centre and Space Testing Facility, if you have ever thought about researching a wide range of fields in astronomy, astrophysics and instrumentation technology, this is the event to come to!!
This event is especially important for PhB students and future honours/masters/PhD students who are considering any research in the field or adjacent fields - this is a great way to understand what options you have available for you as well as meeting with some of your potential supervisors.
