A/Prof Charley Lineweaver: "Are We Alone in the Universe?" Charley will present the results of a worldwide survey asking people "Are We Alone?". He will try to figure out if this question makes any sense...and discuss what the words "we" and "alone" mean.

A/Prof. Charley Lineweaver can be frequently seen on ABC news as well as on ABC radio's Nightlife with Phil Clarke in a fortnightly 11:05-11:20pm science segment. He is a world expert in cosmology, planets, and aliens. As an advocate of popular science education, he loves to talk about anything space related, so come along to try to stump him with your hardest astronomy question.

There will be an opportunity for questions at the end of the talk.
