Living, working and playing on Mt Stromlo

As The Australian National University celebrates its 70th anniversary this year our exhibitions will focus on lesser known aspects of University life.

The first exhibition in the Menzies Library looks at what it was like to live and work on Mt Stromlo as it evolved from an outpost of an embryonic national capital to an integral part of a thriving national university. We'll be sharing glimpses of the building of the community, the day-to-day lives of some of the researchers and their families who called it home, and the research that was its reason for being.

Drop by and see material from our collections, particularly the ANU Archives, and share your memories or create new ones.
