Science with the Giant Magellan Telescope Canberra, March 2008. An international meeting examining the science opportunities enabled by the GMT was held at Mt. Stromlo. The meeting was attended by scientists from 7 countries.
Science with Giant Telescopes: Public Participation in GMT and TMT Chicago, June 2008. The GSMT Science Working Group, TMT and GMT sponsored this workshop toward developing the private-public partnership envisioned in the 2000 Decadal Survey.
