| Skymapper Telescope Launch | May 25, 2009 |
Australia’s newest telescope, SkyMapper, is the first ever to conduct a full digital survey of the southern skies. The telescope will be launched with concurrent ceremonies at Mount Stromlo Observatory in Canberra and its physical location at Siding Spring Observatory near Coonabarabran, NSW. |
